Form footer height is too big RRS feed

    Hi

     

    We suddenly noticed that all the form footers (for all entities) grew from about 35 pixels to about 150 pixels.

    The problem now is that we cannot edit the fields on the bottom of the form as there is an area of about 120 pixel where the footer is displaying over the form content.

    Is there a way to control the height of the footer? Why would all the form be affected?

    I know that some customizations to only Contact/Account were made lately, but I am not sure why those could affect all forms!

    I tried to run in 'compatibility mode' as well.

    Did you install a new update rollup when this happened? Form items like footers don't just change. I'd step back through anything that was going on when the footers made that change and roll back those changes to see what the root cause was.

    Thanks for you tip.

    We found that the test server is 'partly' on UR16 [(5.0.9690.3911) (DB 5.0.9690.3557)] and production is on UR14.

    We did not mean to be on UR16. What happened is that we tried to install UR 16 a while back and it failed for some reason. Then we decided NOT to install it anyway because of known issues with managed solutions.

    We did not uninstall the UR16 bits, thinking that the installation had rolled back.

     

    We will uninstall UR16 and then try to edit the forms and import them to production.
