    Hello All,

I am hoping someone might be able to give some input on this or assist me in finding the right MS Subscription for me.

I've had an MS test lab in my house for a really long time. It started when I was a student and I also played by the rules making sure to use appropriately licensed software. Since I have no gradudated and am no longer a student but now work as a Systems Engineer I don't get the student discounts any more.

I am trying to determine if there is a cheaper option for me other than the full cost of Software when it comes to my home lab. In my home lab I am constantly building and burning Windows servers and SQL servers as I work on a variety of different integrations and testing projects. I also do a bit of programming to create some day-to-day applications for myself. I do not consider the environment to be production (not sure how MS classifies production) but I do use the environment to do things such as send/receive emails, some local authent at home..etc.

Would I fall under a Technet or MSDN subscription for what I am doing?

    Thanks in advance!
