CRM 4.0 - Poor Performance Editing Workflow E-mails RRS feed

    I am not sure if this is something specific to my environment but I am having issues when editing workflow e-mails.  Setting it up works as expected, however when attempting to close the e-mail properties window (either save & close, close, or just clicking the X) there is a 2-3 minute delay which occasionally results in an application crash warning.  Is anyone else experiencing this issue when editing workflow e-mails?

    How many steps are in your workflow?  I have found that the more steps that are in the workflow, the slower it goes.

    There is actually only the one step, to send an e-mail.  It is not working withing the workflow itself that is a problem, but when setting the email properties/editing email content.  The Send E-Mail window opens/functions fine, however when saving changes or even just closing this window results in a 2-3 minute hang and the occasional application error.
