Cannot Install Windows Live OneCare - Error: 0017-8007045D

  I'm losing faith in Microsoft AND my mind.  I try to load the program and it goes through the basic check for updates and license info.  Then it says downloading . . .  then I get the error message.  I called for tech service, and the lady from India who spoke very broken English said it would be $139.00 for the fix.  As far as I know, there is no other software that is interfering.  I ran the Norton cleanup and removal program, but it didn;t help.  Does anybody know of a better solution?  Thanks,  Ed
