  • Question

  • I have made an "household" entity that is something similar to customer relationship entity. The "household" contains 2 references to account to specify the parties involved in the household relationship and 2 references to relationship roles to specify the roles for those 2 parties.  In the 1 to n relation between account and household i have specified to appear this household relation in the Details display area. As you can imagine, in the account window, there will be 2 links to households (one as party1 and one as party2).

Is there a way to merge those 2, to have one link to manage the household relationship either if the account is party1 or party2?

    thanks!

  • Hi,

I'm afraid a simple answer to your questions is No. It is not possible in a support way.

You cannot configure or customize the system to show both relationships in a single view (with a single link that display both types of records i.e. party1 and party2).

If this is a high priority requirement you will need to create a custom page that displays both party1 and party2 records in a grid and then link the custom page to the account window by using the ISV.config file.
