C# Programmatically How to commit and upload a file to TFS server. RRS feed

  • Hello,

    Well i want to make a simple console program, to make a commit, and just upload a simple txt file to my TFS server.

    Can you help me with that? since i just see old tutorials using old libraries.

  • I use TF.EXE command line for merge and check-in changesets when we prepare new version of application. It means my application launches tf.exe command. Tf.exe is well documented so it is easy to use in application. 

    As I write that I use commands so for encapsulation of tf.exe into your application Command design pattern is very nice way how to do it.
