Excluded Files RRS feed

  • Question

  • Three .dat files keep coming back into excluded files box. How can I remove them as I don't want to exclude any files from scan. Thanks

  • There are two databases (three listings) that are automatically excluded for performance reasons and cannot be (permanently) deleted from the list. See this thread for the details: http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2933559&SiteID=2

This apparently doesn’t bother most people, but I objected immediately. If these automatic exclusions can’t be hidden from the user, then they should appear in a separate list and be identified as automatic (programmed) exclusions. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to drop them into the user interface, and it gives one the impression that the coders were strictly following the logic of expedience.
