  • Question

  •  Hi

I purchased a Hp Pavilion dv-6b77dx  with office installed before almost 2 years and the laptop was running perfectly until i faced some problems ( had viruses.......)  so had to restore it to its original factory setting "formatting" the laptop. Then I was trying to activate the the key product for Microsoft office but  while doing that  I faced problem when getting to the cod validation step  i basically keep on getting a msg that my cod is not valid although is used the same cod the first time and i thought that the key product should be valid for the same laptop no matter how many times it have been installed to it i can provide you with pics from the product cod that i got as a sticker on my laptop

hope to hear from you soon

    Best regards

  • The Product Key on the base of the laptop is for Windows, not Office.

If you purchased Office, you will have a separate License for it - and separate packing which should contain the product Key.

  • What EXACTLY does the 'Microsoft sticker'  on the base say? - there are very few OEM Office stickers in existence.

    (DO NOT post the Key)
