Spacing after Code Block

In the Editor I see space lines around the last sentence, but upon saving, the spacing lines before and after the last sentence (before the signature block line) disappear.
I have to edit the post and double the spacing lines which will collapse to single spacing lines upon saving. This is what I see in the Editor before saving:
After saving, the sentence is squeezed between the code line and signature line:
