WMP slow access to WHS based library RRS feed

    I have moved all of my music files from my pc to my WHS music drive and have reset WMP 11 to build a new library based on the files in the homeserver/music directory. Now when I browse the library I have a few seconds delay between each page of the library as I scroll down.

     

    The pc is connected by cable to the same router the WHS is so it shouldn't be a network speed issue.

     

    Any ideas?

    I have speed issue as well but only on first access to a share.  WHS (Gigabit adapter) is connected to Desktop (Gigabit) through a Gigabit switch.  BUT, my laptop (10/100 and 54g WiFi) opens first share at same speed on first connection as the Gigabit connected devices.  My NAS was faster!
