Media Center Connector Setup and Windows 7 x86

Question
-
I've noticed that this has been an issue with Windows 7 x64, but has anyone had any luck installing on Windows 7 x86?
When running the Media Center Connector Setup on W7x86, I receive a red x with "An unknown error has occured" message after entering my WHS (Mediasmart) server password. Trying to get it to install with no luck whatsoever.Saturday, June 13, 2009 5:36 PM

Before marking as answer, I found the issue submitted in feedback. However, the issue is marked as resolved with no comment on resolution. Is this something we would have to wait for on a future update?
Thanks for the prompt reply!
That depends on where the problem lies. If it's WHS, then I'm sure it would be resolved in a future update. If the problem is in 7, the only "update" for that will be RTM. :) In any event, I would still suggest you file your bug report (just because the symptoms are the same as yours doesn't mean the actual problem is). (Especially since 7 is expected to go RTM in about 6 weeks.)- Marked as answer by razormoon Sunday, June 14, 2009 7:01 PM

You should post a bug report on Connect. See Windows 7 and Windows Home Server Bugs for more details.- Proposed as answer by kariya21Moderator Saturday, June 13, 2009 10:02 PM
