    For those of you who are having problems configuring the crm client version 4.0 in Outlook (especially after an upgrade) you may wish to review the following article:

    It describes a scenario of changing the web site port number and changes that need to be made in the registry and database. I had to follow these steps having upgraded a CRM system that used host headers. Everything seemed to work after the upgrade - except in the Outlook client. Having made the changes described in the article I now have the Outlook client working.
