    Hi,

    I use the microsoft.speech api and the MSSpeech_SR_en-US_TELE speech engine. When I test it on my vocal corpus I obtain systematically very low confidence values for some words as for example "LIVE" ( in the sentence "I live in Paris") or "I'm"  ( the same sentences are said by around 50 different speakers)

    In the special case of the word "live", one explaination could be that there are two pronunciations for LIVE (L IH V and L AY V), and during the phonetic transcription, the speech engine does not use the correct one.

    Does someone have experimented similar problems and have some clues? What can I do to force the system to use the correct phonetic transcription?
