How to access the server desktop from another computer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi I am new to windows home server and have just installed the evaluation copy successfully, but I am unsure as to how I access the desktop of the server from my main computer, is this because I have not configured the remote desktop? or am I just not typing the correct address to access it?
    Many thanks.

FYI, logging into the server desktop is unsupported and not necessary.  You should use the WHS Console from a client for your admin functions.  Having said that, you should be able to logon to the server desktop from a client by using Remote Desktop Connection and putting Administrator for the user name and your server password as the password.
