how do I connect a mac to WHS RRS feed

  • I've got my laptop running windows XP connected to my WHS, but I cannot get the WHS to show up on my wife's mac.  Any suggestions?

  • Windows Home Server offers limited support for Macs. Basically, all you will be able to do is access the server's file shares, using standard Mac techniques for connecting to an SMB share.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

  • create a user in WHS console.

    In Mac - click on go, connect to server, smb://server/videos or (photos, music, etc.) enter user/password when prompted.  Should be good to go.
