How do I downgrade may laptop from Vista Home Basic to XP Professional RRS feed

  • Question

  • Gentlemen,

I use my computer in a home network and I have a machine that we all use in the family for bakcups.  Also I need to send and receive faxes from older people that do not have Internet access.  I also like better the old interface of windows XP professional I had in my previous laptop.

In view of this I would like to know how to downgrade to Windows XP Professional, or eitheir how to download the windows sincronization or the briefcase for vista and also a windows fax program which were quitely removed from Windows Vista Home editions.

Hopefully having a genuire copy of Windows Vista may have an advantage

Thanks in advance for your kind help.

    Lilly

  • Sorry, Unfortunately you do not have downgrade rights with Home Basic. Downgrade right are only included with Buisiness, Enterprise, and Ultimate.
