I have auto updates and it is turned on. Why do I get emails telling me to download the updates? How can I tell if they have been downloaded or not?Saturday, July 7, 2007 4:47 PM

Hi Carol
You should not be getting any e-mails from Windows Live OneCare telling you that you need to update as they are done automatically. So what updates are you gettting the e-mails for. If they are not for Onecare then you are off topic and you can look for help here www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx I will be moving this thread to the off topic forum and marking it off topic.
