I have only just been exposed to CRM so please accept my apologies if this question seems ridiculous - I am at the bottom of a learning curve but want to learn, and you guys seem the best people to learn from :-)
Take a customer magazine subscription model in CRM. The particular procedure I'm interested in is as follows: currently, when a subscription is due to expire, the relevant salesperson is manually emailed the fact :-( They then manually
contact the agency in that area by letter to advise them and the agency does the rest regarding the renewal (or not as the case may be). I think the letter is a mail-merge job.
From what little I've seen of CRM, this entire process could be triggered and entirely automated? Surely?
