  • Essential Cal in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013:

What is mean "Light-weight access to custom applications"?

I want to Know if I use an Essential Cal:

    1- Can I Create Appointment?

    2- Can I read Accounts?

    3- Can I read Contacts?

4- Can I access my custom entities?

  • I might be wrong but as per this,

Essential Cal is for users who wants to access custom applications built on top on CRM.

I Suggest best thing would be contact microsoft sales resp. in your region or CRM partner for this and they can give you relevant commercial advise for this.

  • I'd echo Mayan's comments. A 'Basic' Cal would cover your 4 bullet points. An essential cal would be used for example, to license employee access to a portal that reads/updates CRM.
