  I suggest starting at http://www.microsoft.com/learning . This is the main entry point to the training and certification information. If you are interested in the .Net exams, follow the links to Certification->Visual Studio: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-vstudio.aspx

  The basic first-level exam for certifications on .Net 3.5, is probably 70-536 (the Framework exam). For .Net 4.0, it depends on the kind of applications that you write. For instance, if you develop ASP.NET applications, consider exam 70-515: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-515&locale=en-us
