Personal Antivirus Protection rouge program RRS feed

  • My laptop was infected this morning with "Personal Antivirus" program.  I did not purchase this, nor did I allow it to finish scanning my computer for viruses.  I tried to delete it mannually to no avail.  However, I had Norton Security on my laptop (b/c I had subscription time remaining).  Norton could not identify, fix, isolate or quarantine (I tried moving it there manually).  Online there are numerous programs to fix the problem at a cost.  I added my laptop to my One Care Account.  One Care scanned and okay my computer as safe.  However, when I go online, I'm still getting the error message created by Personal Antivirus. 

    How can I remove this from my computer?  My laptop is a Dell Inspiron XPS with Windows XP operating system.
