  • This is a Windows Home Server V1 add-in, and won't install or function correctly on Windows Home Server 2011.

  • How can I install it?

As I already said, this add-in isn't compatible with Windows Home Server 2011, so you can't install it.

Microsoft has recently released an add-in and app that you can install, however. Go to the Windows Home Server 2011 subforum for more details.

  • If I use Home server 2008 with WHS will it work normally?

    Saturday, July 16, 2011 6:08 AM
  • There is no "Home Server 2008". Windows Home Server V1 was released in 3rd quarter 2007, Windows Home Server 2011 just a few weeks ago. This add-in you're asking about was intended for installation on V1.
