Is the MCITP certification still valid RRS feed

  • I am thinkiing of taking a MCITP enterprise support course  but i am not sure if the qualification will still be valid when i take it

    can you advise please ?

  • The MCITP certification is still valid when you already have it and you want to upgrade to the new MCSA: Server 2012 certification. I would not recommend taking a MCITP training based on Server 2008. Investing in a Windows Server 2012 training and certification has more value for the next few years and this certification will be valid longer.

    Start with MCSA: Server 2012 (exams 70-410, 70-411, 70-412)

    From there you can move on to MCSE: Server infrastructure by passing two additional exams ontop of MCSA.

    Then you will have the most recent certification that equals MCITP: Enterprise Administator.
