Upgrade CRM 1.2 to CRM 2011

I know the office upgrade path is 1.2 to 3.0 then to 4.0 then 2011 however thats a long process, is there a quicker way? any points/tips/advice etc about this upgrade?

Unfornately there is no easy way. There has been a massive amount of structural and technical changes between different versions of crm. I would suggest. Make a list of JavaScript and plugin changes as there is big difference between crm 1.2 or crm 3.0 to crm2011. Just upgrade the databases. Then upgrade or rewrite the plugins and workflow code as required. You have to do that anyway just don,t do it for each upgrade. Just don,t forget to keep a back copy of crm organisation before upgrade. I hope this helps.

Hi,
There is no other option to upgrade 1.2 to 2011 directly, you should upgrade 1.2 to 3.0 then to 4.0 then 2011.
