Before I start, I want to say that I am still using WHS V1 for DE purposes and am not willing to change at present.
I have just built a new PC and have connected it to my network. The computer can see all computers on the network and can connect to the internet perfect.
The problem comes to when I try and connect to the server, I have tried to use the
\\server to access it then I put in the details properly and it comes back saying unknown user: incorrect username or password. I am trying to use the Admin username and password to access the server so I can get the connector
software.
I am able to remote desktop perfectly without a problem. I have also took the connector software off the server and tried to install that on the computer but it says the same thing.
My networked setup comprises of 4 computers (server + 3 Windows 7 PCs) all wired so really I shouldn't be having a problem. I have also tried a router reset to reset all IPs but still nothing. So any help would be appreciated.
