Apologies but I can't seem to get the correct topic for my microsoft problem.
In summary, I can't key in my new CD key in microsoft office (expired) cos it will prompt the below message:
"This product key has already been used.
Please sign in with your active Office account that you used this product key before, or enter a new product key here."
Background: I purchased an office 365, after a year it had expired. So I recently just bought the office home & student 2016 version. However, when prompted to key in my new cd key in microsoft word when i opened it, the error message pops up. i tried
clicking on the "sign in with an active account instead" link, but nothing happens.
I also tried logging into my microsoft account, but cant find any option to "activate" my newly bought office.
Please please help!! I'm terribly distressed! How can my cd key been in use when I just newly bought it from a credible IT company?! I'm from Singapore and I bought my product from one of the Challenger outlets.
