Validation problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • I purchased both my Windows and Office (XP) software programs from The University of Chicago computer center (I am a student).

When I use the WGA diagnostic tools available from MS, my windows is "verified" but Office seems to be "unknown". Unfortunately my original disks are in storage and not accessible so I cannot recall the COA or software keys.

I've copied my diagnostic below, and hope you can help me fix this so my software is correctly recognized as "verified".

  • Thank you for your help. The crypto update resolved my issues with MS' messages suggesting incorrectly that my programs were invalid.

Plus I can now log into both MSN explorer and Windows Live Messenger ~ I didn't realise that I coudn't log into the latter programs for the past few days because of the verification issues I was having with windows and office.
