Hi there,
Appreciate advise on which forum I should ask this question.
I am using a home laptop with Windows XP SP3.
When I am using the laptop, very often, the laptop suddenly pops up the blue screen with the following message. Appreciate where I should ask this question.
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follows these steps:
Check to make sure new hardware of software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates that you might need.
If the problem continues, disable or remove newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Physical memory dump complete.
Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further assistance.
After the above message pops up, I would have no option but to restart the laptop manually. Once I have restarted the laptop, there is the following message:
The system has recovered from a serious error.
A log on this error has been created
