Microsoft EdgeI did a search which launched a URL that failed:

For me I can search, but for no more than 2 terms. If my search has 3 or more terms I get your error.
Edit: But the search works if I replace the "+" characters with "%20" (the ASCII for a space).

In fact, it works if you just use spaces to separate the terms. That is, replace the "+" characters with the space, " ".
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/home?searchTerm=add theame to 2019
When you press enter, the spaces get replaced by "%20".
