  • Hi,

     

    Renaming the Administrator account breaks logins from clients. The fix is to rename it back to Administrator... LOLL

  • The connector has to use a known system account - if you rename it how will the connectors know which account to connect under?

  • That can't be done. Unfortunately, it's one of the drawbacks of using Remote Desktop as a foundation for the Dashboard; it gives you desktop access as a system administrator, which is a group that has the right to do things like rename accounts.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

  • Perhaps the best sollution would be to ask the WHS Team should make sure that it's not possible to rename the Administrator account?
