Not able to add 70-528 certification in MCP site RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

During dec,2008, I have completed the exam 70-536 exam and got MCP ID and temp pwd to register in MCP site. I have sucessfully registered in MCP site. I was able to download the transcript which has the details about 70-536 exam. yesterday I have passed the exam 70-528. I have got the MCP ID and temp pwd to register in MCP site.

Now I want to use the same windows live id for registering 70-528.

But when I use the email address & pwd to register 70-528 in the url https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/Default.aspx, it directly takes me to the MCP home page. Now I am not sure where to give the MCP ID which I got it for 70-528 exam.

Can any one help me out on this?

    Regards,
    Gayathri

  • Hi there,

So you received new MCP ID after passing 528 exam?? if so then contact Regional Service Center for assistance. They will have to probably merge both your profiles into one.

You cannot access two different profiles with the same Live ID, Only one can be accessed. So if you received the second MCP ID, you will not be able to access it with tthe same Live ID. If you wish you may try creating brand new Live ID and access new MCP account with it, but I'd rather recommend contacting Service center for help, so you'll have both exams under one MCP ID :)

    Hope this helps

    Cheers,
    Ben
