Windows isn't valid? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey All!

I bought my laptop ~4 years ago through my university as a discount. Recently, I've been seeing pop-ups such as "Activate Windows Now" and "This version of Windows is not valid." I ran a Diagnostic Report which I'm gonna post below. Can someone help me out?

    Thanks!

  • The installed Key is a KMS Volume License Key - which requires periodic re-activation at private activation servers.

You should check the paperwork/email that accompanied your purchase, since it's very unlikely that this Key is the one issued to you.

If it is indeed the one issued, you will need to contact your University for assistance.
