RSP files

  Hey guys, I'm probably not in the right forum, but I didn't know where to post this.  A vendor sent me an executable along with a ".rsp" response file for the silent install.  However I can't figure out how run this thing with the RSP file inputs.  I've tried:

  <filename.exe> /s /f1"path\filename.rsp" but that doesn't seem to do anything. (both files are in the same folder)

  The executable runs, but none of the response file inputs are being used.

  Unfortunately the vendor has been no help.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?
