CRM 2011/SQL Server 2012 Cannot install Reporting extensions

Question
-
I've installed Microsoft dynamics CRM 2011 on a server. On another server is the database SQL Server 2012.
I'm trying to install the Reporting extensions, but I keep getting these warnings and errors:
The warning says: "Reports will not be published for some organizations because the Report Server instances used by these organizations differ from the instance selected during Microsoft Dynamics CRM Reporting Extensions Setup.".
The error says: "Unable to validate SQL Server Reporting Services Report Server installation. Please check that it is correctly installed on the local machine."
Reporting services is correctly installed and running on the same server as the database. I've installed both UR6 and UR8 to the CRM server, but this still doesn't install properly.
I'm trying to install the reporting extensions to the server where my database is.
Can anyone help me get past this error and get the reporting extensions installed?

Hi Pekch,
Try to download the trail version CRM2011 from Microsoft website.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27822
Extract the files and use the new SrsDataConnector setup to install.
Mostly it will help you to resolve the issue.

Have you ensured that the installation files for the RS extensions have been updated (via the Update Installation Files) option ? I think this is necessary for the setup to recognise RS 2012 (the UR on the CRM server is not relevant at this point)

Do you mean this:
Yes, I've checked the option to search for updates when the installation wizard runs....it doesn't find any updates.

Thanks Khaja!
Downloading the file, extracting and using the new SrsDataConnector setup did the trick! I got the Reporting extensions installed!

Thank you so much for this fix it worked perfect!
I don't know why the check for updates doesn't actually check for updated files but at least the trial has the latest versions.
The warning says: "Reports will not be published for some organizations because the Report Server instances used by these organizations differ from the instance selected during Microsoft Dynamics CRM Reporting Extensions Setup.".
