    Unusual case here...
You would appear to have updated your BIOS?
If so, you may have updated to a version with an improper SLIC table entry, and I would suggest that you check with Toshiba if they have a better match for your machine.

If not, then the problem is the 'invalid SLIC table' error highlighted above.
You can correct this problem by changing the Product Key in use to the one on your COA sticker, using the Change Product Key link in the System Properties page - you will probably have to activate by phone.

  • This is a Windows 7 forum.  Please post your question and MGADiag report in the Vista forum at

    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itprovirt/threads?prof=required

If you use the recovery media to restore the computer to factory condition you should not see any invalid message.  The OS you will restore will be an OEM SLP copy that self-activates.

    Windows Product ID Type: 2
    Windows License Type: OEM SLP

Assuming the repair replacement motherboard is the same as the old board the restored copy of Vista should self-activate.  Only if there is a mismatch to the BIOS SLIC table

     SLIC TOSINV TOSINV00

would it not activate automatically on restoration.
