Error 7 when running a VB6 program on Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Long lasting Visual Basic 6.0 SP6 application running in XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1 presents   Error 7 - Memoria Insuficiente (Not enough memory) message at load when running on Windows 10. You can download the program asking for the name of General Family Documentation System - GDS in Internet.

Can you please give me clues to do my own research. Windows does not give any details on the error to be able to investigate.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

I'd ask in the Windows 10 Community forum on Microsoft Community.

As the Microsoft Community is on a different platform, we cannot move the question for you.

Once there, click on Participate near the top of the screen, and select 'Ask a Question' or 'Start a Discussion'

However, VB 6 is no longer supported by Microsoft.

In fact, it has been out of support since April 2008.
