  • IF my DB server goes down for some time, my app is not estarblishing the connection again.

    I need to to manually reset the IIS /App pool to estrablish the connection again.

    How to make my app to re-estrablish the connectin again on its own whoth out manual invervention.

  • This is bad Web application design. IIS should not need to do an IISreset or App Pool reset in order to have the Web application connect to the database server again.

    The database code in any Web application should open the connection, do the database stuff and close the connection when done -- get in, do it and get out. 

    I don't know what you are doing, but it's wrong whatever you are doing that is causing this kind of situation.
