window 7 product key lost.

  hi i purchased a window 7 professional disc with its product key on the cover two years ago. one day i installed window xp on my desktop due to non support of bsnl internet modem of cdma. afterwards one day i found my key on the disc found lost that someone peel off it as it is always on almirah of my office. so when i try to reinstall the window 7 professional i got problem due to non availability of product/licence key. so is there any hints to find back my key as the disc became useless without it please help?
