Incoming emails get regarding a case that has nothing to do with the email in CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have an issue with a CRM 2011, currently at UR 13 (I know...) that have a "funny" issue with incomming emails getting set regarding an open case that has nothing to do with the email. The email correlation setting of the organization is both tracking token and smart matching.

    Is there some way I can see how the match is done and some way to make it stop. This is an organization that is not too comfortable with the email handling of CRM so every issue like this tend to push them further away from handling their emails within the system.

    Does anyone if this is a known bug/fixed in later URs or is it "just the way it is, learn to live with it" all over again?

  • Perhaps there is an email that was regarded to the case that has the same subject as the later email that has nothing to do with the case - that would be smart matching (which isn't 100% perfect).
