Configuring Exchange Server 2007 Unified Messaging RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have successfully configured OCS, the Dialogic Gateway and the Mediation Server. We are able to make inbound and outbound calls from OCS and Office Communicator.

However the last step (Configuring Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging) has not been successful yet.

    We have:

    Installed the Unified Messaging Server
Created a new dailplan via the management shell
Addes the dailplan to the UM server
Enabled Unfied Communications for the users via the management shell
Run the exchucutil.ps1 script successfully via the management shell
Set the umipgateway via the management shell
    Created the autoattendent
Run the OCSUMUTIL and connected UM with the OCS domain
    Restarted Exchange Unified Messaging
    Restarted OCS

After calling to a user and diverting to voicemail we can't hear anything and the connection is terminated.

Looking in the event log files we can find the following information:

Does any of you have a clue?

  • Additional info on ( OCS Server Error (1))

"Unknown IP 172.19.160.60" is our exchange server which can be pinged from the ocs machine.

There are no firewalls in between the two servers and they are both configured in the same domain.

To be sure that the server connections (between OCS and Exchange) are trusted we have added the ocs certificates on the exchange server. When we were running the
OCSUMUTIL there were no errors. Even a call attendent user was added in the OCS console after finishing the "Configuring Exchange Server 2007 Unified Messaging" steps.

    Anything else we could try?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,

    Thomas
