Font size gets reduced when {delete} key is used to cover up an extra line space

Hi,
Not sure this has been discussed earlier, I couldn't find a similar discussion on this issue.
It's been quite a some time, I have noticed that (Some of you might as well have observed it), font size gets reduced for a sentence when {delete} key is used to cover up an extra line space.
Here's an example,
This is a test statement.
The reduced font size is continued in second line and in subsequent lines, after font size is reduced.
To reproduce this issue,
You can write a (first) sentence, hit {enter} twice, E.g. This is a test statement. hit {enter} twice.
Write another (second) sentence again, E.g. The reduced font size is continued in second line and in subsequent lines, after font size is reduced.
To cover up an extra line space, place cursor at the end of the first sentence and then again use {delete} key to come back.
It sure looks like a bug, can that be fixed ?

Isn't this a Chrome-only issue?
Tried it in IE, there does not occur any bug.

Thanks Livio. You are right. It appears that, it's specific to Chrome only ! My bad, I didn't try on IE or Firefox.

Hence, I started with the disclaimer " Not sure this has been discussed earlier, I couldn't find a similar discussion on this issue." ;-)

I don't remember starting it (I think it was somebody else), but I even noticed the same problem today in my post

Note my second post in that thread - I am not sure how did the font change to such small font. I am using Chrome, BTW.

One or the other issues with Chrome ! However, can't stop using Chrome since it's far better than IE or Firefox, at least for me ;-)
I remember, a weird issue got fixed after updating Chrome earlier. Hope this issue will also get fixed after one or two major Chrome updates in future :-)
