In any event, if you have now reinstalled OneCare, you no longer need to apply the fix from that thread. The updated version of the installation resolves the issue. Now that you have reinstalled, you need to activate the installed copy with your subscription LiveID, if you have not already done so.
If you are still seeing the Windows Security Center warning after the reinstall, please contact support.
