F12 into source when using generated pdbs RRS feed

  • Question

  • I used dotPeek to decompile a dll to debug a nuget package and I can step into source when debugging, but F12 doesn't go to source.  Why not?

  • Hi friend,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

Refer to your description, your issue is about the dotPeek which is a third-party software. Since our forums is to discuss the Visual Studio WPF/SL Designer, Visual Studio Guidance Automation Toolkit, Developer Documentation and Help System, and Visual Studio Editor, please redirect to this appropriate forum: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/decompiler/dotPeek_Introduction.html and leave a comment to seek for a better support, thank you for your understanding.

Meanwhile, during the research and I found Go to Implementation seems using the shortcut “Ctrl+F12” not “F12”.

    Best regards,

    Sara
