Latest update to Windows XP

  Per prompting from shield at bottom of Windows Task Bar, I downloaded latest updates yesterday.

   

  Today, Windows Explorer keeps crashing when I seek to open a second window -- clicking on hot link for another site.

   

  This is maddening!   I have rebooted, but it did not help.

   

  Please, please, please either figure out a fix or send a new update withdrawing the recent update until you get it right.

   

  If this does not get resolved quickly, I will have no choice but to switch to FireFox or Safari for Windows.  Geezzz guys, the updates are supposed to help!!!!
