i recently bought a new dell studio 1558,havin core i5,4gb ddr3 1333mhz,320gb hdd,1gb ati 5470.
thw problem i am facing is that the home premium(x64) that came installed in it,cant see the other pc's connected in the network.i have 1 xp pro-32bit(pc) and 1 pc with vista ultimate-32bit(pc) connected.the problem here is that both the pc can see the my studio but the studio cant.i have done everything putting same workgroup,allowing all the sharing,etc still no result.
other threads have prob that xp and vista cant see win7 in the network but in my case the problem is opposite.this is a big problem for me becoz of network printer,etc that i cant use.
it also came with mcafee security i tried seeing that too.
i never faced any problem with win7 ultimate.
I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP!
dont want to change home premium.
