    Sirs,

    My daughter has an Elonex Webbook, bought new in January 2009. The 25 digit activation code on the underside of the product has been worn away over timeI need this to activate Windows XP Home Edition after formatting the harfd drive. I have proof of purchase and serial no. How can I recover the activation code?

    Possibly by getting hold of Elonex - they are the only ones who may know your existing key number.
    If you use the Recovery options the notebook shouldn't need a key, as it's built in.
    If you'd pulled the key off the install before formatting, then you wouldn't need any other key.
