Anyone help!!At a guess, I'd say that you've updated the BIOS lately - that one is from May this year. The OEM SLP Key needs to be able to communicated with the BIOS to be able to self-activate normally. Your BIOS for some reason doesn't have the correct bits to be able to do that.If you have updated the BIOS, then either revert back to the original, if possible, or see if ASUS have a better update available, with the appropriate SLIC table.If you haven't updated the BIOS - or if you have, and are unable to repair the problem by either method above - then assuming the COA Sticker on the base of the laptop is for the same version and edition (Win 7, Professional) as the installed OS, use the Key on that to activate your machine. (Use the Change Key option on the System Properties page).HTH
