Windows 7 Remote Assistance

Question
-
I've been trying to use Windows 7 Remote Assistance with no luck, connection can't be made. I need something similar to TeamViewer or LogMeIn and thought I'd give Windows Remote Assistance a try. I've tried the email and Easy Connect options at 3 different clients, checked the firewall settings and haven't been able to connect to anyone. Does anybody have this working for a variety of different environments that a consultant may encounter on a daily basis?

J&J, does this not have to do with Windows 7 networking?
Thanks!
