  • Hello layinlow67,

Please look on the computer for a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA).  If there is a CoA, please tell us what version and edition of Windows is listed on the CoA, and if there is a manufacturer's name or "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" printed on the CoA.  Do not post the product key printed on the CoA.

There are no legal downloads of MS operating systems available to the public except when buying them from MS - and XP cannot be bought from MS any more.
If you have a friend with the same edition (Pro/Home/Media Center) and channel (OEM/Retail) as your Key is for, you can borrow their disk and use that (and make a copy for later).

This forum is for Office Genuine problems - you should repost any further queries in a more appropriate forum - XP Install would be a good one....
