ROLLUP UPDATE 14 INSTALL RRS feed

  • I am doing a rollup14 upgrade to my production environment.

    Currently we have rollup 6 and 8.

    What are the things to install for rollup 14.

    Should I do install all of these?

  • Well for each of these it depends on if you are running in 64bit or 32 bit. For 64bit you install those packages that end in amd64.exe for 32 bit you install those packages ending in i386.exe.

    The Server patch goes on the CRM server

    The Language patch goes on the CRM server if you have installed the language patch in the past. If you are straight english you do not need this

    The email router goes on the server/pc you have the email router currently running on if you have it currently running.

    The Report Authoring Extension goes on the device you are creating SSRS reports on with Business Intelligence Development Studio

    The Reporting Extensions would go on the server running SSRS Reports.

    THe Office Outlook patch would be pushed out or installed on each local device running the CRM for Outlook client.

    I believe that is all of the patches. Hope this helps.
